The Founding Story of SLHK
Based on the famed Street Law community legal education methodology developed by the Georgetown University in the 1970s in the United State, SLHK believes in the following:
The importance of legal knowledge and awareness in the protection of rights for different communities;
The accessibility to such knowledge and awareness can only be made easier through interactive and engaging forms of community legal education
Established in 2021, SLHK has worked hand-in-hand with a variety of corporate, educational and community partners to deliver a variety of innovative community legal education projects within the community, involving secondary school students, the deaf community, ethnic minorities and grassroot female workers etc.
